Vincent Charnay

PhD Student, VUW

Research Interests

  • Climate modelling
  • Last Millennium
  • Antarctic surface mass balance
  • Climate variability
  • Atmospheric rivers

Education

  • MSc in Climate and Atmospheric Science, 2021

    Lyon 1 University, France

  • BSc in Physics, 2019

    Sorbonne University, France

Vincent's research mainly focuses on understanding what atmospheric processes controlled regional variations in Antarctic surface mass balance over the last Millennium. He uses the Conformal Cubic Atmospheric Model (CCAM) to determine regional patterns of change.
